How does Shop for a Cause raise money for charities?

Once you click "activate" when Shop for a Cause notifies you that a charitable offer is available, up to 5% of your purchase will go to your chosen cause.

On top of that, when you get to the checkout screen, Shop for a Cause will search for coupons and automatically apply any that will save you money!

This works because our partner stores want to get people excited about shopping with them, and instead of spending money on commercials or Facebook ads, they are participating in our program hoping that you’ll be more likely to shop at their store if they give back to a cause you care about.

Basically, the money going to charity is money that otherwise would have gone to advertising, and comes from the stores and brands (not your pocket!)
