If you don't see any ads, it's likely that something is blocking them: your browser, browser extensions, other software, or your network.
Let's check if other browser extensions are the cause. Please disable all other extensions, even ones that seem like they shouldn’t be a problem, because sometimes extensions have unexpected side-effects.
Chrome
1. Go to chrome://extensions/
2. Disable every extension except Tab for a Cause (uncheck the “Enabled” boxes)
3. Open a tab to see if things are working. If it’s fixed, enable other extensions one at a time to determine which one is causing the problem.
Firefox
1. Enter about:addons in the URL bar
2. Disable every add-on except Tab for a Cause
3. Open a tab to see if things are working. If it’s fixed, enable other extensions one at a time to determine which one is causing the problem.
If an ad blocking extension is the culprit, try whitelisting the new tab page.
If you have an ad blocking or privacy extension, you'll likely have to whitelist the new tab page. Please visit and follow the instructions on this page: https://tab.gladly.io/adblockers/
Please note that there are a few adblockers that are not compatible with Tab for a Cause at the moment. Ghostery, Adguard, and Avira do not work on either browser, and Adblock Plus might not work on Firefox. If you are currently using one of those adblockers, we can highly recommend Ublock Origin as a free, open source, and fast adblocker that allows you to whitelist Tab for a Cause.
Check if your browser is blocking the ads.
The best way to see if your browser is the problem is: try another browser! Ideally, download a fresh version of a browser you don't use (Chrome or Firefox) and see if ads show up on the new tab page: https://tab.gladly.io/newtab/
If your browser is the issue, it may be blocking ads because of strict privacy settings. In this case, you may have to disable the privacy options for the new tab page.
On Firefox, visit your privacy settings (enter about:preferences#privacy into the URL bar) and ensure that the tracking protection is set to "Standard".
On Chrome, make sure "Do not track" is disabled: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2790761?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en
Test out another browser with default settings.
If possible, please try downloading another browser without any customizations. For example, if you normally use Chrome, try downloading Safari, add Tab for a Cause, and see if the problem is fixed.
If this solves your problem, we know your main browser has some setting or customization that's breaking sign-in. You might consider reverting your browser to default settings or uninstalling and reinstalling the browser.
Sometimes, desktop antivirus, network settings, or VPNs block the ads.
This is a bit more challenging to debug. If you are actively running a VPN or antivirus software on your computer, you might try disabling it to see if it fixes the problem.
If none of these help: please feel get in touch and let us know what you've tried! We'll do our best to help out.

Just a quick question, are there any ads in the Philippines that can be seen in Tab for A Cause? I remember ads being shown before, but they seem to have disappeared.
I don't see ads... I'm using tab for a cause for over 3 months already but I have yet to see any ads. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
BTW: I don't have an ad-blocker.
I've been using Tabs for a Cause for several years and recently (not sure exactly when) the ads stopped appearing. I use Adblock Plus and Ghostery but have whitelisted "tab.gladly.io" and "gladly.io" to no avail. Please help!
To anybody who doesn't have ads: on your browser make sure that tracking protection (or whatever its chrome counterpart is called) is off. It works for me.
Aaron Zhou's advice worked for me :), Thank you vary much!
If you're in chrome, this link will help you: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2790761?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en
no matter what I disable (I've tried disabling all my ad blockers, and in fact the only extension I have enabled currently is this one; I also disabled tracking protection as suggested above), I don't see any ads at all. If I can't figure out what's wrong, I'm probably going to uninstall in order to avoid costing you guys money (since blocking ads still seems to count as having earned a heart, despite not paying anything out)
Hey Guys, I just figured out what was happening to me, it was the antivirus. I'm running Kaspersky Total Security and they block tracking from websites. You just need to turn it off, on whatever antivirus software that you are using, and it should work perfectly fine, I even turned it on again and the ads still going on.
