Games for a Cause allows you to raise money for your favorite cause while playing games. Just like Tab for a Cause, any ads seen while browsing or playing games generate revenue, and we use that revenue to support non-profits.
We strive to create fun and easy ways for people to support important causes, and Games for a Cause felt like a natural next step. This is in partnership with Google's Gamesnacks program, where game developers share in the revenue generated from their games.
New games will frequently be added to the Games for a Cause page, and it will be available on both desktop and mobile.
A great way to raise some extra money for great causes while you have a few minutes to kill, are procrastinating on your assignment, or just looking to try your hand at some new games.
For Tab for a Cause classic users, money raised on Games for a Cause will be distributed based on quarterly heart donations (just like the money raised on Tab for a Cause)
For Tab for ______ users, or people visiting cause-specific Games for a Cause pages, the money raised will go to the cause you are supporting (often there will be a banner confirming this saying you are raising money for "global health" or "ending poverty".

I can't find any documentation about which charities Games for a Cause supports. In Tab for a Cause, there's a way to choose which causes to support… will Games for a Cause translate somehow to tabs? If not, please document exactly which charities are being supported.
Why doesn't it tell us which charity we are supporting?
We just edited the FAQ response to clarify how the money raised on Games for a Cause is distributed. We are working on getting Games for a Cause integrated into the leaderboards as well as a way to earn hearts on classic Tab for a Cause but that should help clarify things further. Thanks!
When will games for a cause be on mobile?
I don't see a change in my impact points when I play the games.
If you visit the Games for a Cause pages on mobile, they should work. We have a mobile app coming out in (fingers crossed) the next few weeks that should make that easier.
Currently Games for a Cause won't earn impact points, but we are working on including that ASAP. Should be live around the time we release the mobile app.
